Two killed during robbery in separate incidents
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A man gunned down his wife and sister in Satukatla here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The reason for the double murder could not be ascertained, but police suspected that they might have been killed for honour.
The deceased were identified as Hina and Sehrish. On information, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead bodies to hospital.
The murderer escaped after the crime. Police launched a manhunt for the arrest of the killer. Punjab IG Dr Usman has take notice of the incident and sought a report from the Lahore CCPO, besides issuing directives for the early arrest of the killer.
BURGLARS KILL TWO DURING ROBBERY
Robbers killed two persons during robbery in different incidents. They killed a trader during robbery in Kotladdah police jurisdiction.
Irshad was returning home from a grain market with his nephew when robbers attempted to plunder cash from him. During the robbery attempt, the robbers killed him and ran away. On information, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after registering a case.
In Salamat village of Pakpattan, three burglars killed a shopkeeper during robbery and escaped with cash and valuables.
The deceased was sitting at his shop when robbers approached him. Having being informed, police reached the crime scene and started investigation.
THREE BANDITS ARRESTED
Okara police arrested three bandits with ten stolen motorcycles and other valuables. They were apprehended in a raid. Police also recovered weapons from the suspects.
INJURED BY BANDITS
In Korangi area of Karachi, bandits injured a man during burglary and escaped. On information, police reached the spot and started investigation after shifting the injured to hospital.
