Reportedly, father-in-law caught hold of the victim
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An exchange of words between a man and his wife over child's milk exacerbated into physical confrontation in the federal capital on Thusrday, the Bani Gala police said.
The incident occurred in Malot area when a husband coerced his wife to drink acid after an arguement over child's milk. Reportedly, father-in-law Abid Ali caught hold of the victim, whereas husband Wahab brought acid from the washroom and forcefully made her drink that.
The victim was immediately rushed to a hospital for medical aid. The suspect managed to escape the scene.
Police registered a case and began investigation.
