LAHORE (Web Desk) - Following a heavy defeat at home in the Multan Test against England, significant changes are anticipated in the national team for the upcoming second Test.

Media reports suggest that due to the continuous failures of the opening pair Abdullah Shafique and Saeem Ayub, there is consideration for Imam-ul-Haq’s return to the playing eleven.

Additionally, Kamran Ghulam, Mir Hamza, Nauman Ali, and young opener Muhammad Haris are also likely to be included in the lineup.

Meanwhile, it is rumoured that Shan Masood may be removed as captain after the ongoing three-Test series against England. Mohammad Rizwan, Saud Shakeel and Agha Salman are being considered as potential replacements for leadership.

Shan Masood took over after Babar Azam was removed from captaincy last year during the tour of Australia but has yet to secure a victory for Pakistan in a Test match.
