Gold prices plunge by Rs9,000 in Pakistan

Gold and silver prices dropped significantly in local markets, with 24K gold falling by Rs9,000 per tola and silver by Rs150 per tola, following a global decline in metal prices.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices on Tuesday witnessed a significant drop in line with downward trend in international market.
The price of 24-karat gold saw a reduction of Rs9,000 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs514,762 per tola.
The price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs7,716, settling at Rs441,325.
Internationally, gold prices also took a hit, with a sharp decline of $90 per ounce. As a result, the new global price of gold is now $4,920 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices decreased by Rs150 per tola, bringing the new price of silver to Rs8,014 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per 10 grams dropped by Rs129, now standing at Rs6,870.
