ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the Green Corporate Initiative (GCI) is advancing agricultural facilitation and sustainable development projects in Balochistan.
The initiative is playing a leading role in promoting agricultural growth and improving farmers’ welfare in the province.
Askari Bank has joined hands with GCI to provide strategic support for agricultural development in Balochistan.
To boost farming activities, Balochistan’s farmers will have access to 3 billion rupees in interest-free agricultural financing.
Financial support will also be extended for both farming and non-farming activities to promote sustainable economic growth in the province.
Balochistan plans to digitalise agriculture sector
Askari Bank CEO Zia Ejaz said the collaboration reflects a commitment to assisting underprivileged farmers and supporting their prosperity.
The GCI CEO added that the partnership represents a key step for the province’s agricultural sector and will significantly contribute to economic growth.
