Gold prices in Pakistan rise by Rs2,300 per tola amid global market increase, taking the new rate to Rs428,862, while international gold hits USD 4,065 per ounce
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The fluctuation in gold prices continues as rates in Pakistan once again registered an increase.
According to traders in bullion markets across the country, the price of gold rose by Rs2,300 per tola, pushing the new rate to Rs428,862 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,808, reaching Rs367,860.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices climbed by USD 23, reaching USD 4,065 per ounce.
A day earlier, due to stability in the global market, local gold rates remained unchanged, with 24-karat gold priced at Rs426,562 per tola and Rs365,708 per 10 grams.
It is to be recalled that the Federal government lifted the ban on gold import and export imposing certain conditions.
