Shares changing hands, nothing to worry: Dar
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that there is nothing to worry about Shell company as only shares of the company are changing hands, and that the Shell pumps will be working in a similar manner as before.
Addressing a press conference, for the management of the funds the finance ministry contacted the Chines banks and told them to pay them on time.
He disclosed that as a result of the arrangement it was decided that no fine would be recovered on-time payment and this was a fast-track payment reimbursed to Pakistan. The payment was paid to China on Monday and was reimbursed on Friday.
The Finance Minister said that all the payments against the loans would be paid on time. "We have no difficulties and all that news in this context are fabricated and fake," he added.
“We have paid back $300million to the chines banks and the same will be reimbursed,” the minister held.
