LAHORE (Wed Desk) – The State Bank of Pakistan has clarified that Rs 75 commemorative bank note issued on the 75th freedom day of Pakistan was legal tender.

The bank tweeted that the note would be used as a medium of trade for all transactions across Pakistan.

It is to be recalled that on the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan, the State Bank of Pakistan issued a commemorative currency note of Rs 75, which was later declared usable for public lending.

However, most of the citizens and especially the shopkeepers still have doubts regarding this note.

On the occasion of Eid, the shopkeepers didn’t accept these notes. The SBP clarified now that the currency notes would be duly accepted everywhere.
